Angel C. Dye is a poet and scholar of African American Literature from Dallas-Ft. Worth, Texas/Milwaukee, Wisconsin. A graduate of Howard University, she holds an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Kentucky. Most recently, her work has appeared in Ample Remains Journal and Sou’wester Literary Journal. She is the 2022-23 Castle of our Skins Shirley Graham Du Bois Creative in Residence. In fall 2021, Angel released her debut chapbook entitled BREATHE from Central Square Press. Currently, she is a Ph.D. candidate at Rutgers writing, as Audre Lorde explains, to discover “the words [she does] not yet have.”
