Elisa is a proud first-generation migrant from the Philippines living on Boon Wurrung Country, Australia. She studied fiction-writing through Open Universities during strict Melbourne lockdowns in 2021; and won the fifth prize for the Writers' Playground in January 2022 for her speculative fiction, "Free range". Her poems have been published in FromOneLine Anthology by Kobayaashi Press, and her micro fiction stories in 101words.org and ParagraphPlanet.com. Someday she would like to write a book her daughters would be love to read.
